- ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪Amazing Physician- HORRIBLE RECEPTIONIST You do not get anywhere when speaking to the receptionist! I honestly do not understand how it is that he is okay with how she speaks to the patients. She does not refer any messages to him or the nurse. It takes FOREVER to get medication refills and copies of the blood work. She even admits to turning off the office phones when they are short staffed. People don't call a doctors office just for fun...PEOPLE ARE USUALLY SICK!! I got fed up with having to deal with the same thing every year that I decided to see someone else. Dr. Pickens genuinely cares for his patients but it is a CONSTANT battle with his receptionist.June 18, 2017by J R
